  • Fast paced addictive arcade game play

ON THE WIND V2

An update to On The Wind has just been released! This adds two new game play modes, Zen, and EX, and lots of extra achievements to go with them.

Zen – Relax, you’re invulnerable. Just enjoy the view as you fly through the seasons.
This is almost exactly the same as original mode, the only difference is that the last leaf is invulnerable and you can’t get a game over.

EX – Faster, Harder, Shorter. If you’ve mastered original mode see how you do in EX mode.
The world scrolls past faster, there are more leaves to try and collect but they’re spread out more so you’ll have to do a lot more work to collect them all, and the year is only half as long.

You can choose which mode to play by swiping up/down on the main menu.

ON THE WIND – WALLPAPERS

I’ve made up some lovely images to use as background wallpapers for your iDevices and computers. You can grab each image individually or grab this zip containing them all: OnTheWindWallpapers.zip

To use them directly on your device, tap the image you want to load it full size, then tap and hold the image and “Save Image”. Then go to the Settings app, and choose the saved image in the Wallpaper section.

ON THE WIND – RELEASE DATE!

On The Wind has been approved for the app store and will be released on Thursday 5th April!

ON THE WIND – IPAD RETINA

Just a quick note to say that when On The Wind launches it will support the full retina display of the new iPad, I’ve just finished implementing it and it’s looking lovely. It should be released in the next couple of weeks!

ON THE WIND – TRAILER

I’m just putting in the last couple of tweaks before submitting to the app store. In the meantime I’ve got a lovely trailer to show off a bit more of the game, and the app store blurb. And hopefully it will be available in the next few weeks!

You are the wind, guide the leaves, flourish in the summer, survive the winter.

Take control of the wind and guide the leaves through a beautiful and stylish world. Try to survive through the year as the seasons change and the leaves fall.

  • Simple and intuitive ‘one touch’ controls
  • Relaxing play with the soothing sound of the wind, or challenge yourself to beat your friends
  • Beautiful world that’s generated as you play so it’s different every time
  • Game Center enabled with lots of tricky achievements, and leader boards to challenge your friends
  • Universal app, buy once and play on your iPhone, iPod and iPad.

ON THE WIND – TEASER

Got a little teaser of what I’m working on, not going to say too much yet, just have a look at the pics!

ANNOUNCING SLEEPY TIME

My first release on to the app store is live now! It’s a nice simple app for playing audio to help you fall asleep, with some extra features I couldn’t find in any other apps. You can find the full blurb here, and it’s on the app store here.

Obviously Sleepy Time isn’t the sort of thing I had in mind when I started up dsotc, I originally made the app as I was learning iOS programming and wanted to make something useful for me. I’ve actually been using the app for months now, and still use it every night. I figured I should just polish it up and get it out there, and so here it is.
